Upgrade: Milo Stamm Master Bridge

The bridge transmits everything. It is worth choosing.

The bridge passes every vibration of the string on to the body. Its wood, its cut and its thickness all influence how quickly an instrument responds and how bright or warm it sounds. As standard we fit a Despiau bridge, reliable and with a solid basic tone.

Milo Stamm

The Milo Stamm workshop in Hamburg is the first choice of instrument makers worldwide. It uses the oldest and hardest wood available. A harder bridge warps less and transmits more overtones; the instrument gains brilliance and long-term stability.

For cello: two cuts

Cello bridges come in two traditional forms with a clearly audible difference:

• French: rounder and warmer in tone, for cellists looking for a soft, carrying sound
• Belgian: brighter and more brilliant, for greater clarity and projection

For violin and viola we supply the Milo Stamm Royal.

This upgrade is sold exclusively together with an instrument from our own production and is fitted at the workshop. In mf | solo the Milo Stamm Royal is included as standard. Not available for the double bass.
