Let the light decide.

A bronze pattern runs across the entire body, set into the visible carbon fiber layer itself. It rises out of the black like first light out of the night, and it keeps moving: as the light shifts, the bronze flares up, recedes, and returns.

La Aurora is a series of three: violin, viola, and cello, all carrying the same bronze pattern and the same signature. The cello has already found its player. The violin is still available.

Take this viola on stage and people will come up to ask about it. It was built for musicians who want to be seen.

Inside is the complete mf | solo setup: an Anima Nova carbon fiber sound post, a Milo Stamm Royal bridge fitted to this very instrument, Wittner fine tuning pegs with a Swarovski detail, and Pirastro Perpetual strings. Every component was chosen by ear.

The Cordasonus pickup is built in. A proprietary treated crystal from a German ceramics technology company sits in the bridge and registers pressure changes there and nothing else. Acoustically this changes nothing: unplugged it sounds exactly like a viola without a pickup. Connects through a 6.3 mm jack, no battery, rotates in the bridge in 45 degree steps.

La Aurora means dawn, and the name arrived before any description did.
