Sometimes you build an instrument because someone asks for it. And sometimes you build it because you want to find out what it becomes.

The mf | atelier La Aurora violin is an instrument that commands attention. Across the entire body, the visible carbon fiber layer carries a refined bronze pattern – not printed, not applied, but woven into the instrument itself. It emerges from the dark carbon like the first light breaking through the night: warm, deep, and impossible to ignore. As the light shifts, so does the instrument – the bronze glows, recedes, reappears. The moment you hold it, the conclusion is immediate: this is not a production instrument.

La Aurora exists twice – once as a violin, once as a cello. Both carry the same bronze pattern, the same character, the same handwriting. Two instruments that belong together – even if they will most likely never play in the same room.
