Concept

The EvoLine Hybrid is built on the same technological foundation as every mezzo-forte instrument – the same material, the same tools, the same hands. The accessible price comes from a streamlined production process: the time-intensive painting stage is omitted. What remains is polished carbon fiber in its most honest form – enhanced with a professional pickup system that is always ready when you are.

Sound

Acoustically, the EvoLine Hybrid Violin delivers the same focused, powerful tone as the purely acoustic model. The carbon fiber body produces a sound with clear projection and substance.

• Response: Immediate and precise. The instrument reacts directly to every bow movement – characteristic of carbon fiber, but rarely this pronounced at this level.
• Character: Focused and balanced, with an underlying warmth that gives the sound body and presence.
• Projection: Carries effortlessly over distance – an advantage that counts in both amplified and acoustic playing.

Pickup System

At the heart of the Hybrid version: a permanently installed ANS pickup system (AbsoluteNaturalSound) based on dynamic microphone technology. The pickup is built into the instrument from the start – no retrofitting, no adhesive mounts, no cable clutter.

• Connection: Standard 1/4" (6.3 mm) jack – directly compatible with amplifiers, mixing consoles, and effects units.
• Principle: Plug & play. Connect a cable, start playing. No battery required, no pre-wiring needed.
• Tonal Character: The ANS pickup captures the instrument's natural voice – warm, detailed, and free from the harshness typically associated with piezo-based systems.

Surface & Resilience

The polished raw carbon finish gives the instrument its distinctive character: a modern, dark anthracite appearance with a subtle sheen. No lacquer, no maintenance required.

In daily use, this translates to outstanding durability. Scratches blend into the material structure rather than standing out. Sweat, temperature changes, and humidity have no effect on sound or substance. The EvoLine Hybrid is fully climate-stable – built for touring, outdoor performance, and the demands of professional stage use.

• Pegs: Wittner fine-tuning pegs – precise tuning with minimal effort, unaffected by humidity or temperature.
• Neck: Ergonomically refined scale length and profile for a comfortable, fatigue-free playing experience.
• Pickup: ANS (AbsoluteNaturalSound), dynamic microphone technology, 1/4" (6.3 mm) jack.
