For a long time, the rule in viola making was: If you want big sound, you have to wrestle with big, unwieldy instruments. The mezzo-forte 15-inch viola ends this compromise. Thanks to the unique properties of carbon fiber, this compact instrument delivers a C-string of astonishing depth and power typically found only in much larger instruments.

DesignLine: Aesthetics in 3D

Like all DesignLine instruments, this viola is manufactured using the vacuum infusion process and then elaborately lacquered, sanded, and polished.
