The material no longer exists. This violin does.
The finest silver threads are woven into the carbon, in a calm, striped structure. No shifting colours, no effects. Instead depth and a restrained shine that changes with the light. More subtle than gold and just as effective.
The weave is no longer produced anywhere. We could not build a second one even if we wanted to. What is left is this one, and it is on the shelf, ready to ship.
Tonally it sits at mf | solo level: full setup, individual voicing by our head instrument maker, a final play test. The response is a match for the appearance.
The Cordasonus pickup is built in. A proprietary treated crystal from a German ceramics technology company sits in the bridge and registers pressure changes there and nothing else. Acoustically this changes nothing: unplugged it sounds exactly like a violin without a pickup. Connects through a 6.3 mm jack, no battery, rotates in the bridge in 45 degree steps.
Cool, clear, uncompromisingly elegant. And not repeatable.
