mezzo-forte PremiumLine Violin – The Master Selection.
Only 1 out of 20 instruments makes the cut.
The PremiumLine is not just another model series. It is the result of a rigorous selection process. We don't just build the PremiumLine – we discover it. It is the instrument for soloists, concertmasters, and musicians seeking the absolute pinnacle of carbon fiber acoustics.
Why is this instrument so expensive?
In the production of carbon fiber instruments – just like with wood – there are "Golden Samples." Instruments that, due to microscopic nuances in fiber structure or resin distribution, acoustically stand out from the rest. We identify these bodies and separate them from the standard production line.
The Selection Process: 3 Hurdles to Excellence
Before an instrument receives the "PremiumLine" label, it must pass a tough exam:
- Audiometric Analysis: Measurement of frequency spectrum, volume, and overtones.
- The Professional Verdict: Two independent professional violinists test the instrument blindly and must unanimously confirm its superiority.
- The Finish: Only if both sound and optics (flawless surface) are perfect, does it proceed to the final setup.
The High-End Setup: Uncompromising
A PremiumLine body deserves only the best components. Included in the price are upgrades that would otherwise cost a fortune:
- The Soul: Equipped with the Anima Nova carbon soundpost. Being height-adjustable, it ensures perfect vibration transfer and tension balance.
- The Engine: A hand-carved Milo Stamm Royal master bridge guarantees optimal response.
- The Strings: Pirastro Perpetual – for soloistic projection.
- The Signature: Exclusive Wittner fine-tuning pegs adorned with Swarovski crystals. A subtle detail that tells connoisseurs immediately: This is a PremiumLine.
The Sound: Superior
Compared to the DesignLine, the PremiumLine offers even greater dynamic reserves. It does not "choke" even under extreme bow pressure and offers a color spectrum that convinced the jury of the German Musical Instrument Award (where an instrument of this class beat 21 master wooden violins).
Availability & Waitlist
Since only about 5% of our production qualifies for this line (approx. 10-12 units per year), this instrument is strictly limited. We cannot force availability. If a PremiumLine is in stock, you are purchasing a unique specimen of rare quality.
Note: To safeguard acoustic perfection, the PremiumLine is available exclusively as a 4-string model in the configuration described here. Custom colors or modifications are not possible.
